Embedding a YouTube Video in Blogger

Hello EDU 3650 students,

For Blog #10, you need to insert your vlog (a video you made on YouTube) into your Blogger Post. Here is how you do it.

1. First, click on "Insert Video" - this is in the toolbar above and is the black wavy box, just to the right of the "insert image" icon, which you have been using all semester. 
2. Then, choose "You Tube" (or if you prefer "Upload from Computer"). When I choose "YouTube" it brings me to my YouTube channel of videos that is connected to my Google account. Make sure you are signed in to Google (you can see your image or sign in at the top right of the screen).

If for some reason, Blogger is not letting you choose your video to insert, you can just add the URL from your YouTube Video into your blogger so your classmates can just click on the link and it will bring them to YouTube vlog. Once you copy the YouTube link from YouTube, then paste it in your blog post, and then make sure the URL is a LINK. You should highlight the URL link and then click on the "link" icon in the toolbar (it looks like a link and can be found to the left of the "Insert Image" icon. Lastly, paste the link again in the space provided, or sometimes it will automatically recognize the link and you will see your link turn blue so you will know it is now an active link. See below:
